Description

Teaching jumping to student skaters in a safe, engaging and effective way is never
straightforward; as an instructor you have to work very hard to build students’ confidence and basic skills while encouraging good technique. You also have to think constantly about student safety.

So it can get pretty complicated! This series of webinars by internationally-acclaimed skating coach Chris Conte is designed to outline the basic principles of teaching jumping. If you want to supercharge your jump training skills, these webinars are exactly what you need: aimed at coaches who wish to really refine their students’ technique, they cover the basic athletic parameters of jumping, neuromuscular patterning, developmental drills and basic techniques for troubleshooting skaters who are having difficulty or have previously developed bad habits.

As with all Chris’s courses, the webinars are presented in an easy-to-use online classroom that allows you to interact with Chris and fellow coaches in a relaxed but lively environment, all from the comfort of your own home. You can find out about the straightforward technical requirements and skills you need here.
